Description
THIS record is part of a dealer's stock of mint Viva-Tonal Columbias from 1925 and '26. I offered some several months ago; here's another:
ROSS GORMAN AND HIS EARL CARROLL ORCHESTRA do "WANT A LITTLE LOVIN'" and "HUGO - I GO WHERE YOU GO." As suggested by the label, this band was in residence at the famous Earl Carroll's Vanities in New York. This was the "hip" version of the Ziegfeld Follies, a classy revue, with oodles of Gags, Songs and GIRLS! GIRLS! GIRLS! In fact, over the main entrance was inscribed the legend, "Through These Portals Walk the Most Beautiful Girls in the world!"
Speaking as a musician, this is my idea of a wonderful gig!
This original pre-"Viva Tonal" Columbia 604-D is in stone cold NEW minus condition!

These records come from my private collection, which I have been accumulating since 1967, and now am downsizing! My highest priority in these eBay auctions is to give you the best possible idea of a record’s true condition and aesthetic value. I always post at least four clear images, showing the record fore and aft, a close-up of the label, and the whole disc, warts and all. If my purple prose won’t cut it, the pictures will! Shipping is done with expert care.
