Description

Rare Columbia EMI UK stereo LP, SAX 2302, 2/5 matrix suffixes, turquoise/blue and silver labels, 1812 overture etc., Herbert Von Karajan conducting the Philharmonia Orchestra.?

Front-laminated, flipback sleeve has some light edge creases, light corner wear and bumps, a few thumb opening creases near the opening edge, a little ringwear and some brown stain marks to the spine edge side and top and bottom corners, mostly visible on the back. Not major issues, as the sleeve retains very good colour and structure and, overall, the sleeve grades EX minus.

Vinyl is slightly dished into side 2, causing a little edge warp when playing this side, easily rectified with a platter clamp, and not affecting audible quality of music. Side 1 has a long light skating line across most of the side, but this causes only a few barely audible clicks here and there, and certainly doesn't detract from super playing quality, strong clear audio with that unmistakeable Columbia sound. Another small mark at the very start of this side doesn't appear to affect audio either. Overall, the vinyl grades EX.
