Description
All music collectors are well aware of the violin virtuosity of Joseph Szigeti. Some of his LPs were literally "mass produced" and can be cheaply acquired, but some are extremely rare and considered the holy grail of violin LPs to collect.
The item up for auction is considered one of Joseph Szigeti's RAREST LPs - the latest Canfield Guide places the value at $375.00USD!
Regardless, Szigeti's playing is always a wonder to behold - this LP is simply superb from both a performance and a sonic perspective!

The ebay auction item is for a very rare Canadian pressed LP, with a Deep Blue label and Silver lettering (see picture below for more details).
The LP is from the extremely rare Columbia series of 12" LPs (now LONG out of print), catalog # ML 5266. The record vintage is from the 1950's (never issued in stereo).
CONDITION Details:
The LP jacket is in Excelent condition. The jacket has a seam split just on the beginning of the top and a small sticker damage.
The LP is in Excellent + +condition! The vinyl has a few marks and play with soft occasional background noise. Nothing serious! We spot play graded the LP on our audio system and found it to be in Excellent ++ condition - overall a gorgeous slab of collectors grade vinyl. One label has a sticker.
The record has a Deep Blue record label with Silver lettering. The LP is clearly indicated as being issued/pressed in Canada, vintage 1950's.
Please understand that this is a very old record - as such, one cannot expect the record to sound like a brand new, audiophile pressing! Some noise is inevitable - for best results, always properly clean your LPs before playing them.
The LP is an audiophile quality pressing (any collector of fine MFSL, half speeds, direct to discs, Japanese/UK pressings etc., can attest to the difference a quality pressing can make to an audio system).
