Description

Set of 2 Columbia stereo LPs on the blue/silver label, SAX 2316 and 2317, Donizetti's Lucia Di Lammermoor, Maria Callas, the Philharmonia Orchestra and Chorus conducted by Tullio Serafin. Matrix suffixes 13/8/1/4.

Front-laminated flipback G&L sleeves:

Sleeve for Record 1: A few edge creases and a more significant crease to top left corner, tiny edge split at bottom opening edge, little ringwear. Grades EX-.

Sleeve for Record 2: As above, plus a little laminate chip to bottom edge and a small 1cm tear at opening edge previously repaired with tape. Grades VG+.

The vinyl plays very well indeed with strong, clear audio, and grades as follows:

Side One: EX, a few light hairlines and a skating line towards the end mostly not affecting audio, a few clicks here and there

Side Two: EX+, just a couple of very light hairlines, barely noticeable

Side Three: EX, a few light hairlines and a light scuff on the first two thirds mostly not affecting audio, a few clicks here and there

Side Four: EX+, just a couple of very light hairlines, barely noticeable
