Description
An original 1959 first press on Columbia records with blue and silver labels.These albums have mint unplayed vinyl,there's no spindle marks and no marks apart from a finger nail mark to side one that doesn't affect the play at all,they look just like they did as they came out of the factory.Maria Callas,Lucia Di Lammermoor,with The Philharmonic Orchestra conducted by Tullio Serafin and chorus master Roberto Benaglio.Ive listened to it all and it sounds wonderful and as I'm not a professional record cleaner I haven't cleaned it or touched it,so after 60 years of not being played it could be dusted/cleaned.This is a rare hard to find set as they always seem to have got split up.
This is a two lp set SAX 2316 with sides one and two and SAX 2317 with sides three and four.
The matrix numbers are YAX 309-13,YAX 310-8,YAX 311-1,and YAX 312-4
The vinyl is in mint condition apart from one visible finger nail mark line that doesn't affect the play.There are no spindle marks,it's as fresh as the day it was manufactured in 1959.The inner sleeve is also in mint condition.The outer sleeve is also Near Mint with only minor shelf wear and ageing knocking it from Mint to Near Mint.If your after a top of the range and top condition lp this is for you.
