Description
I have been an EBayer for some years but, for the past couple of years I have only listed a limited number of items. As a collector, I concentrate on accumulating vinyl however, I occasionally enjoy dipping my toes into the sellers’ market, generally to raise funds for yet more of my own purchases !!
This offering is approximately 100 recordings, and amounts to the most serious collection I have ever listed. I advise you to re-visit my listing each day, as there will be some high-value, serious classical vinyl every day, with ultra-low starting prices and no reserve. Highlights are :-
o The complete Klemperer Beethoven series on 1st Edition Columbia SAX
o A substantial number of Decca SXL, HMV ASD 3-digit, HMV Angel Series and RCA SB-Series 1st Editions
o Some serious violin recordings including Ida Haendel, Mullova, Chung and Milstein
o Some seriously rare, vintage and/or more obscure releases on ‘lesser’ labels
o A number of very old mono recordings featuring Furtwangler, Geiseking, Lipatti, Monteux and Cantelli.

· Every record is placed in a new outer plastic sleeve, a new replacement inner sleeve (if required) and packaged in a custom-built transport sleeve with a minimum of two stiffeneRD
To be listed over the next week is the Complete Klemperer Beethoven Symphony Series on Columbia "SAX". All are blue/silver first editions, and at the conclusion of the last recording, I will be listing EMI Columbia's Box and accompanying notes, released to commemorate the release of the full collection. All sleeves are basically as new, bar one (only imperfection is the loss of the EMI gold "stereophonic" sticker on the front). The theory is that the original collector kept the recordings in the Box, leaving the sleeves in perfect condition.
I have decided to sell the recordings separately, and the box as an extra for the modern collector, in possesion of the full set -(from myself or other sources !?) The recordings will be listed in chronological (ie- rising Serial No order.
