I had had 100% positive feedback for over 15 years on E-bay and this is the first negative ever received. It caused my feedback score to fall to 96%. I only ever sell previous record shop stock which is NEW or NEAR PERFECT condition. I NEVER sell ANY records in lesser condition unless it is very rare or valuable. What the Customer who left the negative says makes/made no sense? He told me the record was " severely damaged and had been played 100's of times" and wanted a partial refund. The record was as near to NEW as you will ever see .... so why he said this only he knows? I politely declined and asked him to return the record for a refund.... he refused? There was no sarcasm on my part but his messages were curt, nasty and very sarcastic. I have sold over 2,500 records on E-bay and many more 1000's in a shop and other internet outlets. I have never had to deal with someone like this before who for some reason wanted to scam me and then punish me for no reason***

MENDELSSOHN - INCIDENTAL MUSIC TO A MIDSUMMER NIGHT'S DREAM  OTTO KLEMPERER - PHILHARMONIA ORCHESTRA AND CHORUS COLUMBIA SAX 2393 - LIGHT BLUE/SILVER LABEL  
  RECORD - Visually looks  EXCELLENT - just two visible tiny surface marks and one very light hairline. No spindle marks, clean and shiny playing surfaces both sides. 
COVER - EXCELLENT - No rips or tears just some almost unnoticeable tiny foxing spots on rear and bottom front edge, crease in top right and bottom left corners and a laminate peel ( approx. 1cm ) to bottom right corner - otherwise nice condition all round.

* please note that I cannot give an audio appraisal as I have 30,000 records and it would be impossible to play grade them all. I DO NOT PLAY NEW RECORDS! I check the vinyl surfaces under a strong halogen light and always try to give a fair judgement. Grading vinyl records is a very emotive subject which can cause arguments, conjecture and debates. If you do not agree with my grading I will NEVER get embroiled in disagreements nor will I give price reductions. If you are dissatisfied with ANYTHING I will gladly refund ALL payments received plus return postage costs.

PACKAGING - I do not skimp on packaging. I use top quality strong cardboard mailers with strong cardboard insert stiffeners. Records are always removed from the sleeve/cover to prevent splitting the seam.

POSTAGE/SHIPPING COSTS - I actually lose money on costs! I charge NOTHING for packaging and UK service will be upgraded to include FREE insurance for loss or damage. In effect every price you see for UK, EUROPE and REST OF WORLD will be supplemented by me.
