BEETHOVEN : VIOLIN CONCERTO LEONID KOGAN COLUMBIA SAXF 162 ED1
First French pressing of this incredibly scarce recording. The vinyl has a lot of very light superficial markings on it (see pics). These are for the most part clouding perhaps as the result of moisture damage rather than scuffing or scratching. Visually I would grade as VG-.
Overall the album plays well with only some very occasional clicks and ticks. Side one does have a couple of sections with some light but persistent background crackle. I would probably grade Side One as VG and Side Two as EX-.
The sleeve has some creasing to the spine but is generally in nice condition. I would grade as EX-.
I have listened to the album on a Goldring Lenco GL75 turntable with a Shure N75ED Type 2 cartridge.

despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.
GOOD: The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches.
The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discolouration, etc.
FAIR: The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump.
The cover and contents will be torn, stained and / or defaced.
POOR: The record will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface noise, etc.
The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing.
BAD: The record is unplayable or might even be broken, and is only of use as a collection filler.
