NOTES ABOUT GRADINGS
VINYL. Where items are factory sealed I have described the vinyl as MINT. This is to differentiate between open and sealed copies. In reality, when you open a factory sealed record the best you can hope for is NEAR MINT.
NEAR MINT is the highest grading I give to open copies. It means the vinyl is in stunning condition (near immaculate in the strictest sense) and plays beautifully throughout with no issues. It is as close to 'as new' as you will find.
COVER/INSERTS. NEAR MINT is the highest grading I give to covers and inserts - irrespective of whether they are factory sealed or opened. It means the cover, inserts etc are near immaculate with minimal age related wear visible.
