Description
I have taken 12 photos for you to see of this Stereo UK Come Aboard QE2 LP on Sceptre Records Mayfair London from 1968. It is from a pet & smoke free home. It is catalogue No SALR 1216 and has 1st press matrix numbers SALR + 1216 +1 , SALR + 1216 +2. It was a special release to celebrate the launch of the QE2.It was only available to buy on the QE2. This LP is very interesting because of a brilliant track on side 2 called "The Warmth of the Day" by a band called Black Cat Bones. This band had Simon Kirke and Paul Kossoff in their ranks, who later joined Free. This track was not included on any of Black Cat Bones albums. This track is a psych fuzzy killer of a great tune. I have shown a close up of the bottom right of the back cover which tells you the other material on the album. The record itself retains all of its lovely glossy lustre and has no signs whatsoever of been played. It is visually Mint. I play tested it on my Thorens TD 160 Turntable and it plays beautifully throughout both sides.Play graded Mint. The orange textured labels are super clean pristine with no spindle marks whatsoever.Graded Mint The inner sleeve is also in great very clean condition. The front laminated sleeve with flip backs is in super clean condition. The back of it has no dirt and is ultra clean. It has a great spine and sharp opening edge.Graded N Mint. This is a final upgrade LP for sure-you will go a long way and search a long time to find one that is as perfect and unplayed like this. I send Worldwide and combine postage
