Description

On offer here the first ever Motown recording to be released, but on London American in this country.  Here Marv Johnson and Berry Gordy combine to write both "Come To Me" and the flipside "Whisper".  This year Motown celebrates 50 years since its founding and this one started it all.  Actual recording dates from 1958 but was released in 1959, also features the now legendary "Jobete" credit on the label.  Original UK release London HLT 8856.  I would suggest this one is hard to find a probably a good future collectable.  Has been properly play tested on a revealing hi fi system and I would grade it EX with the flip slightly less good.  Labels are both very clean and presentable and sleeve is contemporary.  If anyone is unhappy with this description I will offer a refund, but I doubt if you would find one in better condition in a hurry!
