Famous song (in a different version!) but the "A" side here appears to be "Ach, Wie Ist's Moglich Dann" (this side has some small writing on label in ink "to doris xmas 1937").  Nice condition VG+/EX-.

All 78s have been visually inspected for damage AND play tested (using a' lightweight' period electrical pickup or in some cases a soft tone steel needle if more appropriate).    N.B. I do not clean records unless they are very badly soiled, so you may well find the records are in even better condition than described once they have been cleaned, according to my feedback I do tend to underestimate condition.  The sleeve provided may not be in good condition or matching the disc unless stated, it may even be necessary to omit sleeves altogether to help strengthen the package.

78s will be sent in a special protective package, discs will be double boxed and/or padded with 25mm polystyrene sheets as necessary.  It must be said however that sending 78s via the postal service can be a dodgy business!  I hope my honesty is appreciated, most sellers of 78s will not tackle or acknowledge the problem of broken discs in the post in their description.  All I can say is I do my best at this end bearing in mind Ebay's restrictive post/packing charge policy.  I do retain proofs of posting in the event of loss should a claim be necessary.  Refunds for damage may be given depending on circumstances but I cannot always guarantee to do this.  Having said that I have so far only had 2 broken discs having been on Ebay for over 6 years.  In my experience the single disc packages are the most vulnerable, so you might like to check my other items and add another one or two.   There will be a greater chance of compensation if buyers opt for Recorded Delivery, but I will charge 0.80 extra for this. Foreign bidders must take an extra risk as I do not believe the Royal Mail compensation service covers such transactions.  The Airsure tracking service is available but I will charge 5.25 extra for this

Please check my other items for sale, but I will not hold multiple lots of 78s for buyers indefinitely, I will list for 2-3 weeks every month and then pause for 1-2 weeks depending on circumstances, my current listing phase will end Sunday April 25.  I respectfully request that buyers pay for their won lots at the end of the listing phase IF they are waiting for items to combine purchases.  I will hold records only for one listing period (i.e. about 3 weeks max)  I am happy to combine records to save postage for buyers, however please remember that once a certain weight is exceeded, the price will jump considerably, especially for any foreign bidders, please be aware the normal Air Mail weight limit is just 2Kg, above this they will have to go Parcelforce, a much more expensive service.  As an example 7 x 78s might exceed this limit therefore would cost about 47.00 for Europe and 67.00 for USA.(GBP).  I will not send 2 x separate lots of 5 if you buy 10 in order to save you postage for example, this is too much extra packing work at my end, I recommend that you buy no more than 5 or 6 discs at one time to maximise the benefit of combined postage, early discs however can weigh much more and 3 or 4 discs might exceed the weight limits concerned.

  As a general guide for UK postage prices -  1 x 78 - 4.00,  2 x 78s - 5.95,  3 x 78s - 7.95,  4 x 78s - 8.95,  5 x 78s - 9.95.     Examples of foreign shipping, to Europe 1 x 78 - 6.00,  5 x 78s -13.75,   Rest Of World 1 x 78 - 8.00,  5 x 78s -23.75,  all prices GBP.

 I may use First Class postage where there is not much extra price difference.  Prices can vary as 78s do not all weigh the same!  It is not convenient for potential buyers to come and view records before purchase but collection is welcome from Newcastle Upon Tyne if you are a winning bidder if at all possible.  Thank You and Good Luck
