Original 45 record, limited release. . . Pristine condition so you can see it as it was produced, and could hear it play with no scratches. The vocalist is Tinker Carlin, a friend of Buddy Holly who became a Nashville figure. The song is about a '50s local hangout which really recreates the magic of the past of Lubbock.
Looking for the Hi-D-Ho This is a never played 45 record produced by Larry Holley, Buddy Holly's brother. The vocalist, Tinker Carlen who often got together with Buddy Holly and other young musicians to make music and entertain. The song connects the Lubbock High School Class of '55, which was Buddy Holly's Class, with the Lubbock drive-in hangout of the 50's. If you were a teen in Lubbock in the '50s, you would "cruse" the Hi-D-Ho, get a coke, and listen to Bop, a little swing, some Hank Williams and, the beginnigs of a very different Rock-a-billy. This record belonged to a member of the Class of '55 who obtained it at a class reunion.
Condition of the record is pristine, no damage no deformities no scratches. The original jacket is as it was new.
