Description

Great private press Christian Rural Rock LP from The Common Brothers Band. It gets a great review from Ken Scott in his Archivist book. He describes it as:"Seven Youth For Christ moderately long haired fellas with a splendid custom of rural country and acoustic rock. Satisfying homemade vibes with a keep it simple attitude, featuring a nice combination of electric guitar and organ throughout. Things get pretty heavy on their cover of 2nd Chapter's "Which Way The Wind Blows". Several fine originals, like "Revelation"- a strong kind of rock ballad that opens with spoken word over drum and organ, picking up steam in the middle, and ending with a excerpt of "Wish We'd All Been Ready"." The songs are: Lonely People, Oh Dear Jesus, Which Way The Wind Blows, Revelation, Feel The Love, If My People, Yesterday I Loved You More, Truckin', Reality, Your Perfect Love.
