Description
This is the very first Deutsche Grammophon Gesellschaft edition of Ludwig van Beethoven´s Nine Symphonies with the Berliner Philharmoniker conducted by Herbert von Karajan.
It contains a box with a very glossy, laminated cover, a 24-pages-program and 8 LPs with "Alle Hersteller..." tulip label (later issues have the "Made in Germany..." tulip label). The numbers of the LPs are SKL101-108
This entire set is in almost perfect Near Mint condition, the discs are all perfect - I'd bet they have never been played. The box has a tiny frayed edge in its cloth covering along the bottom of the spine, literally every inch of the rest of this set is perfect. All LPs are exquisite, they have no scratches or marks of any kind. It wouldn't surprise me if they have only been handled by me when I inspected them. Bid with confidence!
