LPs are in Mint Condition Only a few of the LPs have been sampled by an extremely careful critic. There are no signs of play such as spindle marks or light marks on the vinyl.
Boxes are in Mint Minus Condition. There are just a few Tiny abrasions on the spine of box 3, and no corner wear or surface wear.
The Three Books and The Discography range from Excellent to Mint. This set was owned by a high stature jazz journalist. He made some notes opposite the tune and personnel listing on pages 52-59 of Vol. 1. If you are a jazz collector, you won't be offended. But if you are Looking for 100 % pristine, obviously this isn't your cup of tea. None of the printed matter is affected and the written notes are all categorizable as marginalia. Vol. 2 Book has margin notes of the same type, not obscuring text, on pages 36-42. Vol. 3 Book and the separate Discography are un- marked and Mint.
