This is a rare opportunity -- all ten volumes of the Complete Haydn Symphonies.  No boxes missing, no records missing.  There are forty-seven 12-inch LP's recorded by the Philharmonia Hungarica under the baton of Antal Dorati, released on London Records between 1970 and 1974.  (They were not released in symphonic-number order; e.g., Volume One contains Symphonies 65-72.)  The magic and brilliance of Papa Haydn's symphonic work are almost too much to manage all in one sitting; I'm sure you'll be listening, learning, and become reacquainted over many years. 

Each boxed volume contains from two to six LP's, with a booklet of illustrated notes.  Volume 5 also includes the Sinfonia Concertante in Bb Major.  Volume 10 has the two lettered symphonies -- "Symphony A" and "Symphony B" -- with recorded alternate versions of four symphonies.   You are buying all 106 symphonies + the Sinfonia Concertante. There are also extensive endnotes for the entire series in Volume 10.

I can't even find a sale online of all ten volumes of this set of records together.  Individual "volume" box sets are listed from about $9 to over $200 online.  I'll have to let the marketplace set the price.

THIS IS GOING TO BE A HEAVY BOX.  I get it at just under 30 pounds.  Inside the United States, this qualifies to ship under Media Mail rates, at $34.67, with some insurance.  I live in Tennessee; it will take about a week to get to farther parts of the country.  ANY other shipping service will be at least $75, and most of them $100+.   If you live in the US and want any other kind of shipment, contact me ahead of time for an exact quote. The amount of insurance will depend on the final sale price and may change the total shipping cost, but in any case, you will pay only what I pay.  I provide my own boxes and wrapping/packing materials.

If you live in Middle Tennessee and will pick up and pay in person, cash is great!  If we have not made arrangements for pickup and cash payment, please make your payment within 24 hours of the end of the auction.

International buyers are ALWAYS welcome but do not bid without reaching out to me first.  The package will be both large and heavy; it will cost a lot for international shipment and I want to work that out with you before you place your bid.

If you live in Tennessee, I am a dealer so I will have to collect 9.75% sales tax -- sorry.  My shop is open Wednesday through Saturday; packages will normally go out by the next business day after the auction closes.
