Condemned To Death formed in San Francisco in the spring of 1983. Tony of Fifth Column had mentioned to Keith Chatham that there was a band without a bassist practicing in the Vats (the old abandoned Hamms Brewery). Keith soon joined up with guitarist Tim Nelson, vocalist Eddie Morgan (both recently relocated to the SF Bay Area from out of state), and Tony who would be replaced by drummer Mike Chubka before the band recorded their demo tape. In November of '83 the band recorded a 7" EP and then hit the road in a Ford Pinto playing gigs up north with the likes of Poison Idea and Final Warning. In August '84, the band started work on their Diary Of A Love Monster LP when Eddie decided to leave the band, so the remaining members divided up the vocal duties as well as new vocalist Scott Wilkins singing two of the tracks. This line up continued on until the band's demise with Keith moving to Australia to join Death Sentence and Vicious Circle; Mike and Scott joining Verbal Abuse, and Scotty later joining Electric Frankenstein before forming Hollywood Hate with ex-Total Chaos drummer Suzy; and Tim went onto the Serial Killers.

Welcome to the Skeleton Closet!
I was a rabid music collector for 30+ years - Punk and Hardcore in the early-Eighties, Death Metal and Grunge in the late-Eighties, Industrial and Experimental in the early-Nineties, and Goa Trance and Psytrance in the late-Nineties and early-2000s…
I also worked at a record company for 13 years, toured North America with numerous international acts, DJed internationally, produced festivals, and had a clothing importing company. So in this time, I’ve accumulated a lot of interesting and limited items...
Family life and other life changes have made me decide to unload my collection. For the majority of the items, I have been the original owner of the item. I try to be accurate on my description and condition of the items. I have a lot to sell, so check back often -- I’ll try to keep the new listings coming weekly...
