De la gran cantidad de grupos y orquestas fundados en Miami en las décadas del 60 y 70, el Conjunto Universal encabezaría la lista entre los más prolíficos en sus grabaciones. Su producción musical durante casi trece años, alcanza la docena de discos, algo digno de exaltar si tenemos en cuenta que esta clase de colectivos no contó con el apoyo de las grandes casas disqueras. Pero gracias al trabajo serio de su director y de todos y cada uno de sus integrantes, la agrupación tuvo la oportunidad de pisar en repetidas ocasiones los estudios de grabación. 

El Conjunto Universal debuta en el mundo del disco con su álbum ?EL GRAN CONJUNTO UNIVERSAL? para la casa Tone Latino, grabando posteriormente, para este mismo sello, su disco ?TREMENDO FIESTÓN?, a partir de aquí comenzaría a desarrollar todo su trabajo discográfico, hasta alcanzar las 12 producciones. 

La voz principal del conjunto siempre fue la de Eduardo ?Eddy? Gual, (Mi Nota: Eddy es el del peluquin al frente, ja ja!) quien se desempeñó igualmente como manejador del grupo!

WE USE THE FOLLOWING SCALE FOR OUR STRICT, PLAYED (SOME TRACKS) AND/OR VISUAL GRADING OF VINYL:

Sealed : Jacket is sealed shut in shrink wrap, disc is sold ungraded or "as is". If you wish I can carefully open the film and send the vinyl separate of the cover?BUT ADVISE!

M- : A record in this condition appears absolutely unplayed and will bear no marks, sleeve scuffs, or scratches. We seldom use this grade.

VG++ (Excellent) : A record in this condition may have one or two visible imperfections, but these will be of a purely cosmetic nature (i.e. sleeve scuffs or other superficial marks) and will not affect play, of course, no kips or ?loud? clicks. A VG++ record will have no scratches.

VG+ : A record in this condition will have a few visible imperfections. These may include sleeve scuffs, superficial marks, and light scratches. The presence of a single light scratch is enough for us to grade an otherwise markless record VG+; a VG+ record will have no more than a few such scratches.

VG : A record in this condition will show the kinds of imperfections found on VG+ records but in slightly greater numbers. There may be a number of light scratches and other marks, but a VG record will not bear any scratches deep enough to be felt with a fingernail. TO BE SOLD AS IS!

VG- : A record in this condition will have a number of visible imperfections; the presence of a considerable number of light scratches will force us to give a record this grade, as will the presence of even one scratch deep enough to be felt with a fingernail. TO BE SOLD AS IS!

G : A record in this condition will have pervasive imperfections of varying degrees including both light scratches and scratches deep enough to be felt with a fingernail. TO BE SOLD AS IS!
