Greetings Vinyl Affiliates!
You are bidding on this super rare, ORIGINAL PRESSING (not a U.S. TOMMYBOY reissue), 12" single on the original Jamaican Disco/Funk roots label KONDUKO Records. This particular copy came out of backstock recently aquired from a closed down record store in N.J. This record is an absolute must for any roots Disco collector looking for more obscure tunes. The main track is led by a heavy, heavy synth bassline followed by thick drum kicks & shuffling percussion to a 4/4 riddim. This one is definitly a dancefloor burner & a prelude for early house music. It was produced and mixed by Noel Williams on the credits, who is actually 'King Sporty' (a legendary Jamaican DJ of Bob Marley fame). Sporty informed me that this track was recently licenced by a German Dance label to be included on a DJ compilation. He also told me that there was approximatly 1,000 copies of this particular title pressed in 1982. This copy is in VERY GOOD + CONDITION and is in the original issued cover. This 7:22 mix of a superb studio recording is loaded with drum breaks, synth leads & even drops down to accapellas. The vinyl looks & plays great!
