This record is in excellent condition. It has some spindle marks visible on the labels but there are not loads or a drastic amount. There are no pen marks, scuffs or any other damage such as stains or fading. The centres are not loose or worn and overall the labels are clean, bright and in great shape.
As for the vinyl itself, both sides are very clean and show no real scratches or marks in normal light. There is however age related 'mottling' caused by the poly-lined inner over time. This is visible in normal light but is luckily light and purely superficial. This mottling and a few light wispy lines show under bright light but not loads, and of course nothing remotely sinister. So overall the record is in good shape with no nasty scuffs or serious marks and despite the mottling a lovely lustre.
I play tested the record and it played well and sounded excellent throughout with minimal amounts of light surface noise or interference. It does however have a small warp to it unfortunately. This has no impact on the sound but does cause the record arm to move upward or 'bob' on both sides. Side 1 is more pronounced than side 2 but both have movement. As I say however, this is purely a visual issue with the audio clear with only a minor occasional trace of surface noise or interference audible. There was of course no skips, sticks or annoying clicks/pops and overall it was a pleasure to play test with excellent clarity and audio of good quality. The record is graded at excellent due to the warp and mottling and think this is fair as other than these issues it is very clean and play well.
The sleeve is in very good+ condition. It has only light rubbing/wear to the edges and corners, with the writing along the spine all clearly legible. There are of course no splits and no tears, scuffs or pen marks anywhere. There is minor creasing in places(few to laminated front) and there is also ring marks showing. It main issue would be discolouring to the rear however. This is not drastic but the white areas show grubbiness and signs of age. There is also a sticker on the rear in the top left corner area. Overall a strong sleeve with no major issues but general age related wear and grubbiness as mentioned. I have tried to describe the sleeve as best I can but please study the pictures provided to gain as much information as possible as to its condition.
It includes its original poly-lined 'Use Emitex' inner which is in very good condition. This has no tears, splits or pen marks but has creasing, ring marks and age related grubbiness/discolouring. The record will be sent in a brand new plain white replacement.
The record will be packaged in cardboard stiffeners and bubble wrapped thoroughly when dispatched. It will also be sent in a brand new protective plastic sleeve, and within 24hrs of receiving payment to try to ensure a swift delivery.
