Continental Crawler was a band from Lodi, NJ that had direct ties to Glenn Danzig and the Misfits. 3 of the members were in each band Danzig was in before he started the Misfits. In fact, guitarist Chaz Jones was a cowriter on those early songs Danzig wrote.  Also, drummer "Mr. Jim" Catania was the drummer for the Misfits for an extended time and performed on all of the songs on the legendary Static Age sessions, which were released years later. Continental Crawler operated in the same orbit (clubs, fans etc) as the Misfits.
