Item Condition:
Used. Black vinyl has a light mark or two that does not affect play. Comes with original sleeve (this was never released in a picture sleeve) which has a tear in the center and the speed written on the top.

Description:
Though they began playing music in a style akin to instrumental art rock, a move into violent power electronics in the mid 1980s set Controlled Bleeding on a course that would take them through industrial, ambient, free jazz, noise, dub, progressive rock, sacred music, dark ambient, classical and musique concrète. To their detriment, the group was not concerned with generating or maintaining an audience, relying instead on spontaneous inspiration - often the cause of alienation amongst many of their listeners. The band's only constant member is Paul Lemos, although early band members included Jack Salerno, Dave Southerland, Gary Pecorino and Tony Meola, a stable line-up was not attained until the early 1980s, with the addition of Joe Papa and Chris Moriarty.

The second track is more experimental sounding. The first and third song are instrumental - drums and guitar. The guitar has a surprising PIXIES-like tone. The songs themselves sound like a cross between art-rock and garage stomp.

General Shipping Information:
For vinyl, I use cardboard record mailers from Uline or Bags Unlimited. Unsealed vinyl is taken out of the jacket before mailing, to avoid split seams.
CDs are mailed in bubble mailers.

For US buyers:
99% of the time I ship within 24 hours of payment.
I offer two shipping choices : First Class / Media Mail and Priority Mail. Choose appropriately when you pay. All orders come with tracking.
If you purchase multiple items, Media Mail is the cheapest way to go, but it's also the slowest. If you live in Washington, Oregon, or California, you should see the package within 1 week. For other regions, it should take about 7-14 days, but can take up to 30 days to arrive.

For Non-US buyers:
I mail International orders every other day.
The USPS offers Airmail only. Delivery time is supposed to be 5-14 business days. The reality is that your package can take up to 6 weeks or longer to arrive.
You are responsible for all customs taxes and duties.
Registered Mail is available for an extra charge, usually about $10-20. Your item can be tracked or traced, but will arrive slower.
The USPS has gotten better with international tracking. Item location is not updated every day, especially between the US port and your customs office. Some countries, especially in South America, do not track the package at all.
