Description
You are bidding on a rare, original, vintage, jazz LP record album, from 1958. entitled, "Cookin' With The Miles Davis Quintet", on the Prestige record label #PRLP 7094. This is the original pressing with the deep groove on the labels and the classic yellow Prestige label with black print and the "203 South Washington, Bergenfield, N.J." address. In the trail off vinyl on Side A is machine stamped, "RVG". Etched on the Side A vinyl is, "PRLP-7094-A-1". In the trail off vinyl on Side B is machine stamped, "RVG". Etched on the Side A vinyl is, "PRLP-7094-B-1". The labels are in excellent condition with bright and vibrant colors. There is some flaking on the B label side. However, this may have been done during the manufacturing process because there is no light traces of spindle hole evidence on either label side by the spindle hole. The vinyl is in tremendous, awesome condition. I could find only one minute, light blemish on the B side, mentioned only for the record collecting perfectionist. The jacket is in good condition with light, general surface, edge, and corner wear. There is fraying at the corners. There is a one-inch edge split at the upper right. There is edge fraying on the right toward the bottom. The front cover has light soiling against the white background. The back cover has moderate, general soiling against the white background, heavier around the edges. Please see the detailed photos. This is a 3-day, no reserve sale.
