Cool Notes Betty Lou / Torpedo Audiodisc 10" 78rpm acetate (1959)
Woah! 10" 78rpm disc containing an unreleased version of "Betty Lou" and the otherwise unissued "Torpedo." The Cool Notes released one 45 on the Drum label out of Connecticut featuring Paul Kepler and Peter Concilio. This is a totally different recording of "Betty Lou" than appears on the record. The disc plays at 78rpm and my turntable is not equipped to play that speed, so I recorded it at 45rpm and adjusted the speed to 78 using Audacity software. Audiosonic labels with the band name and song titles typed in. The date "February 15, 1959" is written lightly at the bottom of the label. Acetate has scuffs, marks, and spots of discoloration.
