Conditions : cover shows some moderate wear along the edges and a small abrasion retouched with a blue pencil, EX / disc has a few light hairlines which do not affect play at all, NEAR MINT

GRADAZIONE RIGOROSA - STRICTLY GRADED

Copertine e vinili sono visualmente gradati dopo un’attenta osservazione sotto la luce del sole fatta sulla mia terrazza a tetto. Nelle giornate grigie vengono controllati sotto una forte lampada alogena con l’aiuto di una lente d’ingrandimento. Tutti i i 33 giri in asta sono stati interamente ascoltati su un giradischi Rega Planar 3 fornito di una testina a magnete mobile Grado Statement 1. Per EP e singoli a 45 giri utilizzo un Thorens TD 166 BC con testina, sempre MM, Goldring 1006. Ritenendo che le abituali classificazioni quali Mint, Ex, Vg, ecc., ecc… siano poco significative per spiegare le reali condizioni dei dischi ed anche estremamente soggettive, precedo sempre tali classificazioni con una breve descrizione degli eventuali difetti che ho riscontrato, ad eccezione di Mint- che il più alto grado che conferisco a qualsiasi disco. Soltanto per le copie ancora sigillate all’origine utilizzo MINT/MINT.

Sleeves and vinyls are visually graded after a careful check in bright sunshine on my roof terrace. In the gray days I watch the records under a strong halogen lamp with the help of a magnifying glass. All LPs in auction have been fully heard on a turntable Rega Planar 3 with a moving magnet cartridge Grado Statement 1. I listen EPs and singles 45  rpm. on a turntable Thorens TD 166 BC with a MM cartridge Goldring 1006. Considering that the usual classifications such as Mint, EX, Vg, etc…, etc… are not significant to explain the real condition of the records in addition to a total subjectivity of opinion, I always introduce before these classifications a short description concerning any defects I have verified with the exception of Mint minus, the highest grade I declare. I use MINT/MINT exclusively for the still from factory sealed copies.

Note : musiche e direzione orchestrale di Coriolano Gori. Piacevoli composizioni dalle variegate caratteristiche : temi jazz e da locale notturno, musiche di sapore esotico ed orientale, atmosfere romantiche e trasognanti con in più la simpatica canzone surf " Bella Come Te " cantata da Pippo Caruso in Italiano. Fra le tracce : " Shaker Surf ", a mio avviso il più bello, caratterizzato da un sofisticato tema jazz con assoli di tromba, buona presenza del sassofono e vibrafono su una ritmica vivace sottolineata dal basso. " Park Hotel " dalle raffinate atmosfere da locale notturno con una piacevole vena jazzistica del pianoforte, " Marianne " tema nostalgico ben guidato da chitarra e sezione fiati, " Sofisticate Blues " jazz romantico dall'andamento lento dove si alternano sax, tromba, vibrafono e chitarra. La sua conclusione è affidata ad un assolo della batteria.

Fine tracks from the varied features : jazz and night club themes, exotic and oriental music, romantic and dreamy atmospheres in addition to the nice surf song " Bella Come Te " performed by Pippo Caruso in Italian.  Among the tracks :  " Shaker Surf ", in my opinion the best tune of this album, which is characterized by a sophisticated jazz theme with trumpet solos, excellent presence of sax and vibraphone on a lively rhythm underlined by bass. " Park Hotel " from refined night club atmospheres with a pleasing piano jazzy vein, " Marianne ", nostalgic theme well led by guitar and brass section, " Sofisticate Blues ", romantic jazz from the slow development wherein sax, trumpet, vibes and guitar alternate. Its ending is entrusted to a drum solo.
