COSMIC DEALER – Crystallization (Expanded). Pseudonym VP99.032. Netherlands release. FACTORY SEALED NEW 2-DISC VINYL RECORD ALBUM SET. This edition issued in 2012. Includes their complete sole 1971 album along with original single mixes, demos, and live tracks; some previously unissued. 24-bit remastered from the original master tapes. Pressed on 180g turquoise colored vinyl and comes in a heavy board 350g gatefold cover in a press run of just 500 copies; loaded with rare photos and liner notes by Ugly Things’ Mike Stax. Comes in a clear outer resealable sleeve; this is as it comes from the label. DESCRIPTION:   Formed in Dordrecht in 1968, Cosmic Dealer were one of the most gifted Dutch bands to emerge from Holland’s rich psychedelic scene. Their only album, Crystallization, has come to be regarded as an underground classic with copies changing hands among collectors for ungodly sums of money. Allying powerful heavy rock with softer acoustic sections, along with some sublime three-part harmonies, the album is reminiscent of the Pretty Things Parachute. Highlights include the magnificent Child Of The Golden Sun, the West Coast-flavored If There Is Nothing Behind The Hills, and the mesmeric title track, which demonstrates that psychedelic rock was still very much alive and well in the Netherlands in 1971. This expanded, double-disc 180g vinyl edition (pressed on turquoise colored vinyl) presents the Crystallization album in its entirety, along with a trove of previously unreleased demos and live tracks, all mastered in ear-caressing fidelity from the original tapes. Bonus material includes the thrilling instrumental Fast, taken from a live radio session, single mixes of The Scene and Head In The Clouds, and a handful of 1971-73 demos. It comes packaged in a deluxe heavy board 350g gatefold jacket loaded with rare photos and liner notes by Mike Stax of Ugly Things magazine.

All LPs are removed from their jackets and placed outside of the jacket for shipping. If an album comes sealed (and will be noted as such in the above description), it will be shipped whole unless you request that I open it up to place the disc outside of the jacket for shipping. Both jacket and disc are placed inside of an outer plastic sleeve before packing for shipping. I use professional corrugated record mailers.

RETURN POLICY:

Please e-mail me with specific details and I will get back to you with your options. I ask that if there is a problem with the item that you contact me as soon as possible after receiving it. Any item that must be returned is done so at the buyer’s expense; damage and defective returns will be re-embursed upon receipt of the return item. Any refund, exchange, or substitution/credit will be at the buyer’s choice, but not made until the original item is received back by me; in the condition as stated in the item description. 

NON-ARRIVAL OF PACKAGES:

US Customers:  Please wait at least two weeks from my confirmed shipping date before contacting me about the non-arrival of your package. All packages are shipped with confirmation/tracking, you will received an automatically generated shipping notice from Ebay with your tracking number. It is rare that I’ve had a package not make its US destination, so risk is minimal. The most often cuase of delayed receipt of a package in the US is due to the tracking number of the package not being scanned in at its point of origin (it gets tossed in with regular first class mail), or, less often, at some point along its transit route.

INTERNATIONAL Customers:  Please wait at least 3 weeks from my confirmed shipping date before contacting me about the non-arrival of your package. If security is your concern please have your package registered. I do my best to quickly post packages, but once the package is in the hands of the world’s postal system it is beyond my control. With First-Class Package International Service my only option for investigating the loss of your package is to verify that it left this country to its destination country. Once in the destination country any inquiry on a package must be made by the receiving customer. Most all delayed/lost packages have disappeared/been delayed after they have reached their destination country.
