Description
Cosmic Eye - Dream Sequence LP, released on the Regal Zonophone label and with the catalogue number SLRZ 1030. This is a very rare ORIGINAL copy from 1972. Features Amancio D'Silva (guitar) and John Mayer (violin). Here's a short review:
This record, highly collectable, has been called everything from Trans-Psyche to progressive rock - meets - Indo Jazz (that owing to the line-up perhaps, which includes Indo-Jazz giant John Mayer and at the other end of the spectrum a fairly rock sounding bass and drum section). It kind of plays as a single piece almost, one theme blending into the next. It's ethereal yet striking. Distant chimes meld with tabla breaks and elegant and pure toned guitar.
Sleeve VG+, there is some minor creasewear around the edges and just a few small dirty marks on the rear sleeve but nothing serious. Spine is clean and readable.
Vinyl is EX/NM, plays through beautifully with minimal surface noise and no pops/clicks. A very clean copy!
