High Gloss, extremely clean vinyl shows only a very few faintest sleeve marks under hard bright light, that are inaudible. Labels are pristine both sides.

COVER is EX+
Snapping bright, vibrant and spanking clean cover still in the complete original Shrink Wrap, with only a few tiny, barely visible edge creases off of spine. No other creases, bends, dings, writing or soil. Small bit of wear at top of opening edge. Seams and spine are 100% intact with no wear or splits.

Wonderful JIM EVANS (1960’s-70’s California Underground Comix, Surf and Concert Poster, Custom Car artist) Cover artwork!
…Mega-Rare ’split-register’ cover variant - less than 50 copies of the 1,000 printed covers were done this way, with 3 of the 4 colors - blue, yellow and rhodamine (plus black) intentionally offset from each other, for an especially psychedelic effect; particularly under flashing colored lights or a color wheel (’60s Head Shop style). - mostly handed out to select friends and associates of the band and the festival.

*Jim Evans did the cover art for dozens of albums in the 1960s - 1990s - perhaps the most well-known being Ptah, The El Daoud by Alice Coltrane, with Pharaoh Sanders, as well as for the Beach Boys, Allman Bros., Neil Young, Robbie Krieger, Beastie Boys and many others including numerous Surf / Psych comps and Surf film soundtracks.

Evans was also the official CRATER CELEBRATION poster artist.

Recorded April 1st, 1972 Live at the Spring Crater Celebration, inside Diamond Head on Oahu, Hawaii...a convergence of California Coast based studio and recording musicians plying explosive psychedelic blues. They existed only during the early 1970s; this LP is their only known recording.

The Cosmic Travelers were a group of veteran studio musicians that came together to join the seventh major festival that was held over a four-year period (at the time) in the Diamond Head crater in Hawaii. The LP is their entire live performance, uncut with the exception of two minutes when the tape was turned over at the original recording. The last two songs "Soul" and "Soul Reprise" are real jam kickers.

The track list is short, with ‘only’ six tracks, but includes some extended jams.

Featuring: Drake Levin, lead guitar (ex- Paul Revere & The Raiders 1964-1966), (Brotherhood 1967-68) , ex-Lee Michaels Band (1968-72) also recorded with Emitt Rhodes, Richard Twice and Ananda Shankar (1970),  guitarist Jimmy McGhee, bass Joel Christie (ex-Lee Michaels Band) drummer Dale Loyola (ex-The Hook) ... all cranked out some solid, high-octane, psych-blues rock here.  
Finding an original copy of this gem is extremely rare today. ... finding one in such top, archive condition - still in the shrink wrap? Near Impossible. ... chances of finding one with the incredibly scarce split-register cover variant? Astronomical.
