Description
Counting Crows' classic first album, here in its rare UK vinyl edition on Geffen GEF24528, from 1993. The record itself was actually manufactured in Holland, and looks like it was a contract pressing farmed out to Sony Music.
I have owned this record from new, and whilst it was enjoyed a fair bit after purchase, I eventually transferred it to cassette and kept the LP safely stored away. The sleeve is in very nice condition overall, but does show some wear around the corners (Then again, so do I 18 years on...). The bottom left corner is the most noticeably affected. Some of the print has worn away slightly on the bottom edge of the sleeve, but this is probably more of a reflection that the sleeve was manufactured using relatively thin card, and is not noticeable when looking at the sleeve face-on. The spine has some marks also, but is still clear, flat and defined all the same. The inner sleeve looks good, with some slight rim-wear marks in evidence, but these are minimal. The record itself still looks and sounds good, but there is some evident surface noise particularly noticeable at the beginning and end of track one, "Round Here". However, this is more a result of cramming nearly half an hour of music onto side one of the LP, and was also noticeable when first purchased. Any marks on the record itself are minimal.

All records tested on Technics record deck on National Panasonic SGE5090 Music Centre, through Sennheiser HD497 headphones.

All items sent by Royal Mail 2nd Class Standard in the UK. I have not found any problems using this service generally, but I appreciate that other people prefer to use 1st class or recorded delivery. If you wish to do so, please contact me prior to paying for the item and I can advise you of additional postage costs.
