Description

Here we have one 78 RPM transcription Party Record. Tracks are "Your Morning Feature" by the Country Dodgers --Luther “Red” Roundtree & Carl Grayson vocal, Hollywood April 20, 1942, and "Gracie La Groove (That Platter Spinnin' Gal)" by Ann Shelton -- Hollywood, late 1942. They come on a Standirt Transcription disc. Disc is in strong E-/V+ condition.

This piece comes from the estate of Ed Barker (recently acquired after the passing of his widow). Ed was the owner of San Jose based Jazz radio station KLOK from 1946 to the late 1960’s. There are a handful of choice pieces from the Baker’s estate that will be listed in this week’s auctions including a 2 x 16" transcription disc of an unreleased Benny Goodman set from 1939, as well as a rare Goomdan interview disc, some KLOK station transcription acetates, a sealed promotional copy of the Sound of Music, and other transcription discs of historical interest. Check out my other auctions!

I use VJM Standard for 78's, and Goldmine Standard for 33's/45's.

U.S. Shipping rates are as follows:

One LP or 78 is $4.00. Each additional is $1.
