THE COUNTRY HAMS - WALKING IN THE PARK WITH ELOISE / Bridge on the River Suite (EMI 3977) 1974   A scarce original pressing from 1974! One place in town had it and I bought two copies.  Picked the best two. This is the last copy I have. Traded the other years ago.  Sealed them in protective sleeves years ago with my Seal-A-Meal.
This release is never counted as an "official McCartney release." Credited to "The Country Hams." Now "Wings - Mk. IV," this incarnation featured : Paul, Linda, Denny Laine, and new members, Jimmy McCulloch and Geoff Britton. Also guesting on this track were Chet Atkins and Floyd Cramer ! ... and these Americans were most amused by Paul's playing of a "washboard" on this recording (a staple of the skiffle groups in England !). Whilst Paul and Wings were recording in Nashville in June and July 1974 the two tracks found on this single were recorded. Paul and Chet were chatting about their fathers, when Paul suggested they record a song his dad had written. Therefore, the A-side was written by Paul's father, James McCartney, many years before this session. The B-side is a Paul and Linda song.
As the single was not credited openly to Paul and not promoted as such by EMI, very few people realized it was a McCartney release. It did not enter the charts and was soon deleted.
PLAY GRADED (No, APPEARS it is...I examine them closely and listen closely). I wish I wasn't so obsessive! 
Some of these records I got through the mail years ago as unplayed/never on sale/'look mint.' But, I am closely inspecting them and play grading them for YOU. No one did that for me on things sold as 'new' or 'unplayed' back then from big sellers.

I use GOLDMINE Grading Guidelines and I pack SECURELY!  Corrugated cardboard and building insulation Styrofoam. Thick and adds bulk and strength for the same weight as the same size of cardboard!
