Starting out their recording career with a mind blowing great record,
COUNTRY JOE & THE FISH were installed as impressive 'masters' of the hippy movement! Jefferson Airplane were just a little longer before they got a strong album out, and Quicksilver Messenger Service too were party to this new fantastic and aware culture.
Acerbic and often glib in their approach, it must not be overlooked that protest messages were still serious in intent. The Vietnam War was driving youth to stand against the fighting, and the music was very 'instrumental' I'm getting their thought and feelings out in the open.
This lp stands as proof of the scene and word. It's a landmark album.

The German first issue pressing vinyl is an NEAR MINT copy.
Lables are in clean NM condition, bright with no pen, stickers or tears.
