The Couriers – Take Away 7” (orig. UK Ember MONO EMB S218, with picture sleeve)

UK Release date: May 1965.

 

On offer here is an EXTREMELY RARE original UK PICTURE SLEEVE issue of “Take Away” 7” single by THE COURIERS.  This group came from fashionable Chelsea in London, but also spent some time in South Africa during 1963-64.  The A-side had originally been recorded by Atlanta (USA) soul group THE TAMS.

VG+(+) matt finish: ultra-fragile wrap-around sleeve has minor handling wear incl. creasing & spot staining.  Remarkably though there are NO SEAM SPLITS!  PLEASE VIEW THE HIGH RESOLUTION SCANNED IMAGES CLOSELY!!

Record:

visual: M- beautiful glossy sheen—hard to fault, few completely insignificant hairlines only (seen under strong light).

audible: EX+ sounds superb despite some insignificant underlying static.  A HIGHLY ENJOYABLE LISTENING EXPERIENCE!

labels: HARDLY ANY SPINDLE WEAR.

THIS 45 HAS HARDLY SEEN THE LIGHT OF DAY SINCE IT WAS RELEASED 48 YEARS AGO.  IMPRESSIVE COPY – BID WITH CONFIDENCE!
