Description
COURTYARD MUSIC GROUP – JUST OUR WAY OF SAYING HELLO LP
This is an ORIGINAL mono copy of a mega-rare PRIVATE PRESSING album which, from the labels, appears to have been issued on the band’s own name label ie. KILQUHANITY CMG (see photos). However the RC Rare Record Price Guide lists this album as being issued on the Deroy label in 1974 but gives no cat no. However, the “dead wax” on side 2 of the album has “DER1098” written on it, so presumably the band had it pressed by Deroy. It was recorded in Kilquhanity (presumably in Ireland as the front cover has Irish/Gaelic writing – see photo) in July ’74 and, from the names listed on the back cover there appears to have been up to 9 members of the band, at least 4 of whom were girls, and the music progressive Irish folk-rock. The album has a real “home-made” look about it - the top and bottom edges of the matt cover are taped ( not sure if this was an original feature !) and it has a little wear, mainly front top right edgeand even the labels have a little creasing (see photos). The vinyl, whilst still glossy, does have a lot of lines and there is likely to be some backgound noise throughout. Very, very rare though – I’ve never even seen another copy ! Although I've set a reserve, it is only a fraction of what it is listed in the guide at !
Due to the value of this record, it will only be sent insured - please see below for postal insurance rates
----------------------------
SATISFACTION GUARANTEED – As a record collector for many years, I know only too well that, despite the various systems now used, grading remains largely subjective, everyone essentially having their own ideas as to what NM-, EX+, VG++ etc. should mean ! Instead, I try to describe each individual record (via a visual inspection) as honestly and accurately as I can – perhaps to the point of being overly critical, as even new records, let alone those of 30-40 year vintage, can have some marks ! However, if your standards are even higher and you are genuinely unhappy with my assessment, a refund of the purchase price will be given upon return of the record within 14 days, at buyer’s expense, in the same condition as sent. Please bear in mind that many (if not most !) vinyl records usually have at least one or two light surface marks (lines/scuffs/grazing) mainly from their paper inner-sleeves. As these do not normally affect play at all, such slight imperfections may not necessarily be specifically mentioned in the item description. Should you require clarification/confirmation on any point which might be of importance to you, please ask before placing a bid. If you’re happy with your record(s) and the service please tell others by leaving positive feedback – if you’re not, please tell me !

Whilst, of course, no extra charge is made for payments via PayPal, it would be very much appreciated if buyers, especially those within the UK could, wherever possible, make payment by other methods to help minimise costs. P&P rates quoted always include an additional element to reflect the extra expense of proper vinyl record packaging. All albums are sent in new custom LP mailers with additional stiffeners/padding as necessary for secure shipment. However, as no responsibility can be accepted for items lost or damaged in transit, postal insurance is strongly recommended. This is an extra 70p UK and £3.50 ROW (up to £30 value) and £3.50 UK/ £4.50 ROW (over £30 value).

Double albums count as 2 LP’s for P&P. All overseas parcels are sent airmail - please do not request surface shipping as the small saving on postage is just not worth the extra risk. Thank you for your time and interest.
