I have acquired a large classical collection of wonderful recordings from a very keen and dedicated collector.

They are all mostly from the late 50s to mid 60s - Something of a Golden Age in Classical recording

All records are inspected very carefully and 

Gradings are based on Record Collector magazine.

I try to only offer recordings in a minimum of excellent Condition unless it is something particularly rare when I will do my best to describe any visual or audible flaws

DISC CONDITION  - VERY GOOD 


Side 1     Although Visually just under Excellent  

this is  audibly VERY GOOD 

-  with occasional soft "tics" and occasional light pops and crackles

Sleeve

The front and rear  Sleeves are both   EXCELLENT - FRONT Sleeve is  Laminated and features  The Classic  Sleeve by Photographer 

 Paul Huf - The design was felt to be so strong that no text was required - Pretty brave for 1956 ! - 

 



Scheherazade was completed in 1888 and is probably  Rimsky Korsakov's most famous work Cappriccio Espagnol dates from 1887  - The composer described it as 'Glittering with dazzling orchestral colour' which aptly applies to both pieces here.
