My eBay name is 'punky_music' and I'm a full-time record dealer since nearly 30 years
Cult band. Cult record. Original first US pressing, released in 1978. Old eBay prices: £165 + $206 + $202 + $200 + $193. The all-time classic ‘Surfin Bird’ appears on the A-side. This absolute brilliant CRAMPS cracker includes ‘The Way I Walk’ on the flip. Released on private mini label ‘Vengeance’ records. As you know first US pressings were born with two different coloured back sleeves. One in an orange, almost red, back sleeve (this one) and the other with a purple back sleeve. Both are original first US pressings. The line-up for their second 7” release is Nick Knox (drums) Lux Interior (vocals) Ivy Rorschach aka Poison Ivy (lead guitar) and Bryan Greory (guitar). This model was produced by the great Alex Chilton…and he did a very good job. This version was also approved by the RAMONES due to the closeness, just 5 months, of this release to the RAMONES own version of ‘Surfin Bird’ the CRAMPS contacted them to make sure they were okay about them also issuing it. The original jacket is very thin/flimsy. It shows no seam splits!!

Mailing / Versand: all records will be sent in plain white 7“ sleeves outside of the picture sleeves to avoid any seam splits (alle Platten werden in einer neutralen weißen 7“ Hülle außerhalb des Plattencovers verschickt, um Beschädigungen am Originalcover zu vermeiden). All records will be shipped in special record mailers. Two cardboard paddings (the best) will be used to avoid bending. Ebenso werden alle Platten entsprechend stabil in speziellen Schallplatten-Versandkartons mit zwei dicken Pappkartons verpackt.
