GRADING: I try to give an accurate representation of the record with a numerical value. I infer that the records should play their visual grade. I have given a numerical grade to correspond to typical record grading for the approximate percentage of wear. For example, excellent/85 means the disc should have about 15% wear/marks from a NEW record. By looking at the photos you can find band info and song titles.

MINT = 100

NEAR MINT = 92-99

EXCELLENT/NEAR MINT =89-91 (borderline near mint)

EXCELLENT = 82-88

VG+/EXCELLENT = 79-81 (borderline excellent)

VG+ = 72-78

VG/VG+ = 69-71 (borderline vg+)

VG =62-68

RECORD/ITEM FOR AUCTION: John Bender "UNTITLED?" Lp on the US Record Sluts? Records label. It has no catalog # and is dated 1980 in the dead wax. 

RECORD CONDITION/GRADE: The disc grades visually at near mint/97. The labels near mint/97. The cover is near mint/98 with the lightest of shelf, seam, spine, opening and corner wear along with light corner dings/dents.

A NOTE ABOUT SHIPPING: Look I understand ebay's reason for their policy for shipping records but I do not agree with it or their methodology. I have never gouged people on shipping cost and I have always used higher grade pads and industry standard mailers which I must purchase. Now due to the lower domestic shipping rate I am forced to offer..... I am also forced to stock thinner, cheaper, less costly pads to prevent myself from losing any more than 30 cents per each single lp shipped at the $4 rate. Now I know many sellers use these thin pads with no problem and some even use only one pad to shave costs of using two pads and to try to keep the package under a pound so it ships at a 30 cent lower rate. Unfortunately this also allows a single lp to shift in the mailer in transit. I do NOT like shipping items in such a flimsey manor! I do not like losing 30 cents every time I ship a single lp! Being a professional I have always chosen to assure your lp arrives safely by asking the customer to pay MY COST, which is $5, and using higher grade (more expensive) pads. You are welcome to chose the $4 shipping as is your right. BUT REMEMBER........IT IS AT YOUR RISK! And frankly if $4 shipping is that important to you, more important than the lp arriving safely...... then it is ok if you chose not to purchase from me.

DOMESTIC SHIPPING:

STANDARD FLAT RATE SHIPPING: which offers the ebay maximum flat rate USPS media rate shipping anywhere in the U.S. at $4.00 for the first record and $1.00 per each additional Lp. This will include industry standard mailer and TWO industry standard THIN PADS. nothing else is included or expressed or implied with this rate. BARE BONES industry standard shipping at YOUR RISK! I lose about 30 cents on each single lp I am forced to ship this way.

PREMIUM MEDIA RATE SHIPPING: which offers USPS media rate shipping anywhere in the U.S. at $5.00 for the first record and $1.00 per each additional Lp. This will include industry standard mailer and TWO above industry standard THICKER PADS. I have always used thicker BETTER pads in my shipping and have NEVER had an lp broken! This was the standard I used BEFORE ebay's policies forced me to offer thinner (CHEAPER!) pads like everybody else at a loss of 30 cents per single lp shipped. At the $5 rate with the thicker pads I break even on my cost.

PRIORITY / DELIVERY CONFIRMATION / OTHER SHIPPING: If you wish priority mail rate or delivery confirmation or any other special shipping needs then please email me when you are done purchasing from my auctions or ebay store and I will include priority rate or delivery conformation on your invoice. ALL ADDITIONAL SERVICES are charged at my cost.

INSURANCE/LIABILITY: Remember insurance costs extra. Insurance must be purchased on totals of $50 or more. Any BUYER'S Failure to purchase insurance absolves Cranium's for any loss or damage during shipment! Delivery confirmation and any other services are available upon request.

The Archives I am liquidating have been sitting on shelves for at least 15 years. All my lps are vintage unless otherwise noted. Unless I am confident of my facts (and even then I've been wrong) I do not try to distinguish which pressing it is or fill you full of blather about the lp. I prefer to let you look at the photos and description and do your own research as to the desirability of each piece. I strive through photos to give the most accurate representation of records on ebay. I take photos of the covers, labels and other pertinent details. And finally I back everything I sell, I do occasionally misspell and make cut/paste/ and other stoner mistakes, and I appreciate when others help me out. GOOD LUCK!
