Most are confused on how to identify original pressings on the Deram label. If the cover has DERAM/LONDON printed on it then there should be at LEAST one true first pressing on the matching DERAM/LONDON label. Same goes for the SIRE/LONDON label. If it has DERAM ONLY printed on the cover then it will have a DERAM label. To be a true first pressing on the DERAM label then the STEREO printed on the label will be white in a black box like this one listed. Similar to the Uk boxed DECCA label. I cannot state for sure whether or not this boxed STEREO came out simultaneously as the DERAM/LONDON label true first press or if this is actually a second label. One thing is for certain. This is amongst the EARLIEST pressings of this lp and I have found more on the DERAM/LONDON label in my time than on this boxed stereo label. Most sellers claim these DERAM labels as being first pressings BUT THEY ARE NOT if the Stereo is not in a black box on the label. Then it is a later pressing and sometimes nothing but a much later re-issue.

RECORD/ITEM FOR SALE: The Moody Blues "DAYS OF FUTURE PAST"  Lp on the US Deram Records label. It is catalog #THS-1 stereo. 

RECORD CONDITION/GRADE: The disc grades visually at nm/96. The labels are nm/97. The cover is ex/nm/90 with very light shelf, seam, spine, opening and corner wear along with corner dings/dents/damage and spine creasing.

GRADING SCALE: I try to give an accurate representation of the record with a numerical value. I infer that the records should play their visual grade. I have given a numerical grade to correspond to typical record grading for the approximate percentage of wear. For example, excellent/85 means the disc should have about 15% wear/marks from a NEW record. Sealed lps should be new. By looking at the photos you can find band info and song titles.

EXCELLENT/NEAR MINT =90-93 (borderline near mint)
EXCELLENT = 84-89
VG+/EXCELLENT = 80-83 (borderline excellent)
VG+ = 74-79
VG/VG+ = 70-73 (borderline vg+)
VG =64-69
