CRASS - FEEDING OF THE 5000 12” VINYL

This is the original pressing with hard cardboard coloured sleeve, not the ‘Second Sitting’ reissue with black and white paper folded sleeve.
I’m not saying it’s the first of the first pressing….god knows that gets complicated but shrewd peeps will spot the crossed out number on the insert.
The very first issues didn’t have that…still, this has always been tricky to find in good nick and nowadays I expect that’s harder than ever.
The vinyl looks great and plays really well, sounds better than my other copy! The only blemishes are two hairline scratches at the beginning of side A. I’ve added a close up in the last photo for transparency but it looks a lot less severe in real life I assure you!
Just to be safe, I play tested this today and that scratch is hardly a game changer as it doesn’t skip and only creates some crackle and click thorough the first track ‘Asylum’ which of course was completely silent on this recording due to the pressing plant bottling it and being scared of legal recourse.
As soon as ‘Do They?’ starts, you’ve forgotten about it and it sounds great.
The cover and insert are both excellent and have no rips, tears or stains.
