CREAM - DISRAELI GEARS A1/B1 STEREO FULLY LAMINATED 1967 VINYL
This is an original UK STEREO pressing of the classic Cream album, Disraeli Gears
On Reaction Records reference 594003
Matrices are A1/B1 (both with Inverted triangles in between)
Note - while A1/B1 are the earliest matrices indicating 1st press music this is not the earliest version of the record label itself .
Publishing Credits on side 1 are 1,2,4,5 Dratleaf / 3 Immediate Music
Publishing Credits on side 2 are 1,2,3,5,6 Dratleaf / 4 Copyright Control
So there are slightly earlier versions out there with the Apple and Windfall credits for this - but this is still an extremely early version and still A1/B1 on the runoff grooves, 2nd press at least - also indicated by the FULLY Laminated sleeve.
The Record :
This is EX+
Both labels are clean and free from any writing or tears with just a little spindle wear
Test Playing :
Lovely copy - Can see no marks on it even outside in bright natural light. You will do well to find a better example, played end to end I find nothing wrong with the sound other than the very lightest of crackle and even then its not very often
Both sides are nice and bright vinyl
Inner sleeve is a plain white "Plastic Bags Can Be Dangerous"
Outer Sleeve is an EX , FULLY Laminated Ernest J Day & Co there's a little corner wear and very slight edge wear in places but no splits. A couple of hairline creases in the laminate but this is in really great shape :) - Spine is a little rounded/ flattened
Overall this is a nice copy of a much sought after album which is one of the most important and essential in rock history
NOTE : PLEASE ask before bidding from overseas as there are some countries I don't and won't post to.
I'll be using Royal Mail 1st Class Recorded
If you're local and want to pick up in person then that's also fine.
All records graded as per the Record Collector / Goldmine Guide as closely and conservatively as I can
Record will be sent in a stiff mailer with the record removed from the outer sleeve and all in a plastic sleeve to prevent splits in transit - I am a collector myself so hate when that happens.
