CREAM - 'DISRAELI GEARS' - Cat. No.593003 (Mono)
This LP Album that is now up for sale is one of the Finest and very Best from my own Private Collection of 46 years - Originally Purchased 'New' at time of release that's overall Virtually MINT !!!
This LP is the Ultra Rare 1967 - Very 1st Mono Press Just never turns up for Sale Like This!!!
Only a very few of this very 1st Mono pressing ever came like this - Before they were almost Immediately Changed and corrected because of the 2 'Miscredits' on the Labels - 1st Miscredit is on side 1 label at the very bottom has been Miscredited to 'Windfall Music' - whereas on all later pressings was corrected to 'Immediate Music' - On Side 2 label at the the bottom has miscredit to 'Apple Publishing' - whereas on later pressings was corrected to 'Copyright Control' - Also Labels has the date 1967 and all later pressings were changed to the date 1966 and only the very Rarest 1st Press Mono of this LP have 1/1 Matrix endings and Rare MISCREDITED Labels
1st Issue 'Fully Laminated' E.J. Day Mono 'Patents Pending' Cover - The Earliest Possibly Printed with the 'Reaction' Logo in 'White' text on the back of cover at bottom left hand side and the right hand Track listing on the back of cover is also in 'White' text (Whereas later copies had the logo & track listing in Black text - Also as a 1st Press cover the 'MONO 593003' text is in thick Black Print on the back of cover in the top left hand corner of cover (Later covers had the text in a White box instead on the back right hand top corner)
VERY RARE LP (Especially in this condition!!! - Virtually Impossible to Find Like This!!!)

All of my records That I'm selling are from my own personal collection that I have collected and cherished for over 45 years and which have been generally kept and looked after to the highest standard. All Records that I do offer will have NO Warps,Jumps, sticks, writing on covers or labels unless clearly stated in descriptions.
Vinyl Condition: NM On Visual inspection of the 1st Issue heavier and thicker type of Vinyl it looks totally Superb on both playing surfaces they appear like 'New' look UNPLAYED and UNMARKED with NO Evidence of any Scratches or other Markings/ Blemishes that can be seen on either side they are Stunning & Flawless and in Exceptional Orignal Preserved condition the vinyl is completely free from any obvious surface marks or groove wear which is quiet Remarkable and Unbelievable considering this vinyl LP is 44 years old! On even closer examination under a strong light with the disc tilted at an angle I still can't detect any obvious blemishes or mark traces it's Absolutely clean and shows no marks of any kind - Lays totally flat on a moving turntable - Still retains its Original Just Pressed Factory deep gloss black shiny sheen and lustre - It would be virtually IMPOSSIBLE to find another MONO copy of this Iconic 1st Cream LP that is the nearest to MINT your ever likely to see!!! I should know because the History of this Album being Just one very careful owner from NEW and purchased by me on day of release in November 1967 in London's West-end and only has ever been played a handful of times on top end Hi-Fi before recording to a cassette format and then Album was stored away in thick plastic covers for preservation for over 40 years until NOW!!! - It’s the sort of Vinyl quality and condition that you can only dream about and only comes up for Sale once in a Blue Moon!!!
Please Note: This record has been stored away and not touched or cleaned for most of it's 44 years it would obviously benefit from a professional clean before play as to reduce further any light static dust crackle that may be still present
AUDIO PLAYBACK ASSESSMENT: - SUPERB UNINTERRUPTED CRYSTAL CLEAR CLARITY AND POWER ON AUDIO PLAYBACK END TO END - Audio is Graded as NM This vinyl visually looks like its never been played and shows NO marks or scratches and looks extremely well cared for and Near Perfect example - There are No major Clicks, pops, skips, jumps or repeats and shows No other annoying audio noise distortions during playback If I'm going to be Ultra Critical whilst listening through the playback you may get occasionally when the very quiet tracks begin to play or on the start of run ins and inbetween tracks and the very quieter elements of audio playback or if at all you may get some very light static crackle for a few seconds and then it just fades away but absolutely nothing of any consequence on this 44 year old Classic that will spoil your overall enjoyment of this exceptional Iconic Classic Album Overall its just a Fantastic listening Experience that you would expect from the VERY 1ST MONO PRESSING with Stunning Original MONO Dynamic Audio performance!!!
Cover Condition: NM Original 1st MONO 'Patent Pending' issue Printed & Made by E J Day London - Fully Laminated cover - The Glossy Laminate on front and back of cover and spine are all fully intact and Unspoilt in a well preserved and Exceptional Stunning condition this very well kept Flawless example looks stunning is Flat and clean shows all its original amazing bold vivid colours and is in Superb condition with fantastic unworn edges including opening edges with good pointed corners and exceptional original Laminate finish on both sides - Visually shows NO problems with Laminate lift or bubbles or any bad creasing or any other noticeable bad marks or ageing blemishes - If I'm going to be over critical and scrutinise the cover very closely in every detail with bright light I can just barely make out a few very near invisible tiny light wispy laminate edge creases here and there and some very slight mild corner rub wear if I look hard enough (It Absolutely doesn't in anyway detract from the overall near Mint condition of cover) Probably impossible to find one better of this very Rare and collectable 1st Press Mono issue cover–NO tears, marks or ink writing
Labels Condition: NM Original MONO Blue Reaction Labels Visually are Superb Unmarked and near perfect with hardly any evidence showing of spindle usage marks or spider trails showing across any of the Labels - Under strong light I can see some light minimal amount of spider traces near the spindle hole which shows no ware this would all indicate and very evident that it has only seen very light Audio play usage a few times and then it was copied to cassette tape.
Spine Condition: NM The Laminated Spine is Exceptional - Overall is pristine very clean and unmarked is totally intact and near perfect - All written text still showing to be clear legible and perfectly worded as the day when it left the factory!!!
Inner Sleeve: EX Original White Poly-Lined Sleeve with 'British Patent No. & MADE IN ENGLAND at bottom of sleeve is Clean unmarked intact condition and shows no evidence of any bad handling wear over its lifetime - NO Tears,Splits,Ink Writting,Stickers or ther bad Blemishes just the usual yellow ageing tint mainly around the edges
I'm currently sorting through some of my other Rarer vinyl records that have been played only a few times which are mainly UK 1st PRESSINGS - Which are mostly in Excellent to Mint Condition - Mainly due to the Covers/Vinyl have been kept in plastic covers and Stored in a Cupboard for all of their Lifetime!!!
Thanks for Looking and Happy Bidding!!!
