!!FIRST PRESSING!!
'POWER COMBO' CREAM
The first 'Supergroup'? Apart from maybe the Elvis/Waylon/Cash/Lewis combo or whatever that was, this probably was. Breaking onto the music scene after Eric left John Mayall's Bluesbreakers, this record astounded and amazed when people heard what they'd done to the blues, ma!
Ginger Baker and Jack Bruce departed the wonderful Graham Bond Organization heading for the World stages in Cream - and before they got publicly entangled in personal recriminations and strangely excessive playing live, this harmonious debut album blew minds everywhere.
Fine playing on greats and blues standards took their genre into a new rock height, nodding electrifying respect to Willie Dixon Robert Johnson and Muddy Waters, as well as introducing their own songwriting talents too.
The vinyl is EX+, a LOVELY copy with full sheen
Plays & sounds WONDERFUL!
The Lables grade EX to NM- condition
The laminated cover grades a very respectable VG++
A QUALITY ARCHIVE GEM!!
