Description
On offer here is a very VERY rare LP (especially in this condition!!!!) by Cream called 'Fresh Cream' and is a 1967 UK 'Earliest' MONO 1st pressing on the VERY 'Earliest' Reaction labels!!!! THIS LP IS WITHOUT DOUBT THE RAREST POSSIBLE VERSION OF 'FRESH CREAM' (AND ONE OF THE RAREST POSSIBLE VERSIONS OF ANY CREAM LP EVER) AND IS VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND!!!! THIS IS THE ULTRA RARE UK 1966 'EARLIEST' MONO 1ST PRESSING OF THIS LP AND IS SIMPLY IMPOSSIBLE TO LOCATE!!!! IT IS ALSO IN STUNNING CONDITION (ONE OF THE BEST I HAVE EVER SEEN) AND INCREDIBLY HARD TO FIND LIKE THIS!!!! BELOW I WILL EXPLAIN EXACTLY WHY THIS LP IS SO RARE AND LIST ALL THE VERY IMPORTANT DIFFERENCES!!!!
FIRSTLY THIS LP HAS A//1 B//1 MATRIX ENDINGS!!!! AND THIS IS SERIOUSLY RARE ON THIS LP!!!! THESE A//1 B//1 MONO MATRIX ENDINGS WERE DROPPED ALMOST IMMEDIATELY AFTER RELEASE AND ALL LATER PRESSINGS SIMPLY DONT HAVE THESE (THEY HAVE A2/B1 MATRIX ENDINGS OR HIGHER)!!!! SECONDLY THIS LP HAS ULTRA RARE DOUBLE 'MISCREDITED' LABELS WHICH WERE ALMOST IMMEDIATELY CORRECTED!!!! IF YOU LOOK AT THE PICTURE OF THE SIDE 1 LABEL - YOU CAN SEE THAT THE BOTTOM CREDIT (AT THE VERY BOTTOM OF THE LABEL) IS MISCREDITED TO '1,2,3,4,5 JEWEL (MUSIC)' - WHEREAS ON ALL LATER PRESSINGS THIS CREDIT WAS CORRECTED TO '1-4 DRATLEAF MUSIC 5. JEWEL MUSIC'!!!! NOT ONLY THAT BUT IF YOU LOOK AT THE PICTURE OF THE SIDE 2 LABEL - YOU CAN SEE THAT THE FOURTH CREDIT AT THE BOTTOM OF THE LABEL IS MISCREDITED TO 'M.C.P.S.' - WHEREAS ON ALL LATER PRESSINGS THIS CREDIT WAS CORRECTED TO 'ESSEX MUSIC'!!!! NOT ONLY THAT BUT THE CENTRE OF EACH LABEL ON THIS 'EARLIEST' 1ST PRESSING HAS 2 'RIDGES' AROUND THE CENTRE HOLE - WHEREAS ALL LATER PRESSINGS ONLY HAVE ONE!!!! IT IS ALSO IMPORTANT TO NOTE THAT THE VINYL IS ALSO MUCH HEAVIER THAN ALL LATER PRESSINGS!!!! NOT ONLY THAT BUT THIS LP HAS A 'TAX' STICKER ON THE SIDE 2 LABEL - WHICH IS ALWAYS AN INDICATION OF A VERY EARLY 1ST PRESSING (THESE STICKERS WERE PHASED OUT LATER IN THE 1960s)!!!! ONLY THE VERY 'EARLIEST' 1966 MONO 1ST PRESSINGS OF THIS LP HAVE 1/1 MATRIX ENDINGS, 2 'RIDGES' AROUND THE CENTRE HOLE, AND THESE MEGA RARE 'MISCREDITED' LABELS - AND ARE SERIOUSLY RARE!!!!
NOT ONLY THAT BUT (AS MENTIONED ABOVE) THIS LP IS IN STUNNING CONDITION AND INCREDIBLY HARD TO FIND LIKE THIS!!!! MOST IMPORTANT TO MENTION IS THAT FOR ONCE THIS LP HAS A VERY ATTRACTIVE COVER INDEED (& A SUPERB RECORD TOO)!!!! AS MANY CREAM COLLECTORS WILL ALREADY KNOW THIS IS ONE OF THE VERY HARDEST CREAM LPS TO FIND WITH A TOP CONDITIONED COVER. MOST EXAMPLES ARE TERRIBLY YELLOWED, RUBBED AND GRUBBY TO THE COVER BACK AND THE LAMINATED FRONT IS USUALLY A MAZE OF CREASES. BUT NOT THIS ONE!!!! JUST LOOK AT THE PICTURES!!!! THIS IS THE 1966 UK 'EARLIEST' MONO 1ST PRESSING ON THE 'EARLIEST' 1ST PRESS 'MISCREDITED' MONO REACTION LABELS, 1ST PRESS INNER SLEEVE, AND 1ST PRESS LAMINATED 'PATENT PENDING' E.J.DAY MONO COVER!!!! THIS LP IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND AS A GENIUNE 1966 'EARLIEST' MONO 1ST PRESSING WITH THESE MEGA RARE DIFFERENCES - SO DONT MISS OUT ON THIS SERIOUSLY RARE OPPORTUNITY!!!! This is an ORIGINAL UK Reaction 1st MONO pressing from 1966 and is in BRILLIANT condition!!!! The record is pressed on MEGA THICK quality vinyl (MUCH thicker vinyl than ANY later pressing). The Cat. No is 593 001 on the ORIGINAL 1st Press Blue Reaction Labels (see picture) and is a UK MONO 1st pressing!!!! All the tracks are pure quality Cream at their best!!!! Any fan of Cream, or 60s music in general, will want to have this in their collection!!!!
The record labels are in STUNNING condition (see pictures) with NO wear, NO writing, a TINY circular sticker residue ONLY trace (virtually IMPOSSIBLE to notice) on one label, a small Tax sticker (as mentioned above), and only a few light spindle marks!!!! The vinyl is in SUPERB condition!!!! Most of these 60s LPs had been to a lot of wild parties and are usually found totally worn out, and almost unplayable. This one is NOT and has NO scratches, NO hairlines, and only a VERY few of the lightest paper scuffs only visible under light!!!! ITS AS SIMPLE AS THAT!!!! THE RECORD STILL RETAINS ITS ORIGINAL 'JUST PRESSED' LOOK!!!! It is great to find that the record plays as STUNNINGLY as the visual with NO pops, NO sticking, NO jumps, NO hiss and barely ANY crackle AT ALL!!!! The record plays with CRYSTAL CLEAR sound quality with NO groovewear either and NO distortion!!!! The record must grade Excellent+ if not better!!!! SUPERB RECORD!!!! Believe me this record is NOT overgraded in ANY way!!!! I use STRICT RC grading standards - it is not in my interest not to!!!! Brillant!!!! The record also comes in its ORIGINAL 1st Press inner sleeve!!!! The 1st Press MONO E.J.Day 'Patents Pending' Laminated Cover is in BRILLIANT condition and is INCREDIBLY hard to find like this!!!! The cover has NO edge wear, virtually NO spinal wear AT ALL (SERIOUSLY rare on this cover - and side words ALL readable), only VERY slight corner wear (NOT through the colour), only a few light creases (cover is VERY flat looking), VERY shiny laminate indeed (MEGA rare on this cover), and NO writing!!!! The opening edge is beautifully straight with NO feathering!!!! Even the unlaminated back is in STUNNING condition with NO writing, barely ANY grubbyness AT ALL (MEGA rare on this cover), NO rubbing AT ALL, NO ringwear, and NO yellowing (virtually IMPOSSIBLE to find on this cover)!!!! The cover must MEGA strictly grade Very Good++++ if not better and is very VERY close to a grade above!!!! THIS LP IS VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND AS A 100% GENIUNE 1966 MONO 'EARLIEST' 1ST PRESSING WITH A 'DOUBLE RIDGED' LABEL, 'MISCREDITED' LABELS, AND A/1 B/1 MATRIX ENDINGS!!!! THIS LP IS SERIOUSLY RARE (ESPECIALLY IN THIS CONDITION) - DONT MISS OUT ON THIS INCREDIBLE OPPORTUNITY!!!!
HAVE A LOOK AT MY PICTURES - I DO MY BEST TO SHOW THE RECORD FROM ALL ANGLES AND MAKE THE PICTURES AS CLEAR AS POSSIBLE - THERE IS NOTHING TO HIDE!!!! It really is a GREAT looking LP and it is truly rare to find any copies of this MEGA RARE LP!!!!
