This is the rare UK 1st press of 'Fresh Cream' by Cream. This 1st press is complete with the earliest A1/B1 matrix, textured blue Reaction labels and very heavy flat edge vinyl. The labels have the essential 1st press only M.C.P.S. label miscredit and the record is complete with the earliest laminated UK 'Patents Pending' Ernest J Day sleeve.
The record is in Very Good condition. The vinyl has a sensational high gloss, there are just a few hairlines and one long very light mark on Side 2. The sound is fantastic - vibrant and extremely clear. The voices are sharp, the backing is bold and noise can only been heard in the quiet moments. The blue matt Reaction labels are extremely clean. There are a couple of spider marks and a little spindle wear otherwise they are superb. The blue is bright, it is completely clean and the silver text is sharp. The record is complete with the original inner sleeve.
The 1st press 'Patents Pending' laminated Ernest J Day sleeve is in Very Good condition. The laminate has a stunning mirrorlike shine and the black is very solid. There are a couple of light laminate creases and some light marks on the back unlaminated corner. The images are exceptionally sharp and the text unworn. The whole cover is still solid, the edges are very firm and the spine has clear text.
