HI EVERYONE. I would like to let all Progresive rock and folk, psychedelic, beat 60s, 70s, hardcore collectors and lovers of the music, that in the next few weeks I am going to put for auction my entire untouched to this date collection.

Iconic double-album by CREAM titled "WHEELS OF FIRE”.
Catalogue Number 583 031/032.
This is an ORIGINAL 1968 UK STEREO 1st PRESSING on the POLYDOR RECORD LABEL, with a 1st ISSUE ERNEST J. DAY SILVER-FOIL FINISH GATEFOLD SLEEVE.
Complete with the original white poly-lined inner sleeves which have square-cut opening edges.
The matrix numbers are the earliest stamped stereo matrixes which are 583031 A//2, 583031 B//1, 583032 A//1 and 583032 B//1
There is no Set Number printed on the record labels unlike all subsequent stereo pressings].
The inner sleeves are the originals with “British Patent No…” and “MADE IN ENGLAND” text at the bottom
Overall this is a magnificent 1st press stereo copy of Cream’s iconic double album which will grace any record collection
Matrix Nos: A2 / B1. A1/B1 ( EARLIEST POSSIBLE)
Condition of Vinyl: EX+. The fourth surfaces retain their original deep glossy sheen with no dulling.
The solidly-pressed records are in NEAR PERFECT condition.
There are very, very few and very, very light hairline surface marks on the 4 sides and none of these have any significant audible impact.
Remember i am grading my records under a very strong light. This is an AMAZING copy!!!
LABELS: The Polydor labels are like new with only a few faint spindle traces.
Stunning audio performance to these first pressings - loud, strong and incredibly vibrant with amazing depth and clarity to the sound and my play-check at loud volume found no major audio issues of note - no scratches and no grove-wear or distortion with hardly any light surface noise on the run-ins and some of the quietest passages. Absolutely nothing I found in the slightest intrusive. Plays extremely well throughout and sounds absolutely sensational
This is an absolute gem of a classic record!!!. Beautiful!!! No jumps or skips.
Condition of Cover: EX+ or better. The gatefold sleeve is in BEAUTIFUL condition. There is very, very light wear, some very light creases and very light signs of ring wear.
The spine looks great, square and unflatten with very light wear.
Inside looks also beautiful.
The back shows light signs of ring wear and also of an old very small sticker to the top right.
I think that it will be hard to find a better copy of this iconic cover and vinyl.
This is an absolute gem!!!!

GRADING:
All records are graded using the UK ‘Record Collector’ format:
MINT (M): The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint.
EXCELLENT (EX): The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.
VERY GOOD (VG): The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.
GOOD (G): The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration, etc.
FAIR (F): The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump. The cover and contents will be torn, stained and/or defaced.
POOR (P): The record will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface noise, etc. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing.
BAD (B): The record is unplayable or might even be broken, and is only of use as a collection-filler.
PACKAGING INFORMATION:
LPs and singles will be sent in a record mailing envelope and will be protected by two cardboard stiffeners.
