Description

Beautiful copy of the original 1968 first pressing of Cream’s Wheels of Fire double-LP on ATCO SD-2-700. Features their classics White Room and the amazing live Crossroads. Original pink and gold labels (some say plum and tan) and gatefold cover. Terre Haute pressing. Both discs are beautiful and play completely flawlessly and just beautifully all the way through. There are a couple of noticeable but superficial marks which do not affect the play at all. Really incredible players. The cover is oddly a non-reflective cover, even though the discs are 1968 originals. This unusual version came this way. Perhaps there were some original discs lying about when they repressed the album in 1971, and they put older discs in a newer cover… hard to say. In any case it is a beautiful cover with only the slightest signs of use, mainly a bit of light corner wear at the upper left. Almost pristine. Comes with both original 1968 ATCO inner sleeves. A top copy, hard to beat.
