CREAM original double LP WHEELS OF FIRE Atco SD 2-700 (1C, 1D pressing) gatefold
Early pressing with these numbers in wax: ST C681285-1C, ST-C-681286-1D, ST C681287-1C and ST C681288-1C. The letters CP are also in wax on the three sides ending in 1C; the 1D side has the letters CT in the wax.
Inner sleeves are illustrated with covers of other Atco albums.
Record shows definite groove wear and signs of handling, but the scuffs are light and there is only one tiny scratch deep enough to feel with your fingernail on the track "Politician." Overall, VG to VG+.
Gatefold jacket shows surface and spine wear and corner damage, VG to VG+; the inside is in excellent condition.
LPs and 45s are graded M (mint), NM (near mint), VG+, VG (very good), VG-, G+, G (good), G-, F (fair), and P (poor).
A VG+ record may have some visible scuffs and light scratches and plays well with little surface noise. Scratches on records graded VG and VG- may be deep enough to feel with your fingernail, or there may be scratches throughout that cause surface noise. On records in the G+, G and G- range the level of the music is still above the surface noise caused by scuffs and scratches. Surface noise is as loud as the music on records graded F and louder than the music on P records.
Jackets graded VG+ have only slight wear; jackets graded VG are more worn but still intact unless defects are noted. G jackets show definite damage and F and P jackets are probably falling apart. Splits, markings, cut corners, and other defects will be noted.
