CREEDENCE CLEARWATER REVIVAL - BAYOU COUNTRY

A brilliant copy of this increasingly hard to find 1969 UK 1st press with little played vinyl

Year/Label : 1969 UK LIBERTY Label number : LBS 83261 Matrix numbers :  LBS 83261 A//1 420, LBS 83261 B//1 420 Stampers : 11 22  /  11 16
Excellent plus (EX+) condition, jet black sheen vinyl - comes across as "mint" in normal daylight and it is only with close inspection under a bright light that just the very occasional and strictly surface only extremely light paper scuff mark comes into view. Similarly for the iconic light and dark blue Liberty labels which remain in great condition - perfect with not even a sign of the usual one or fine spindle trails adjacent to the centre hole. Clearly this is a record that has been little played, probably just a few times at most. Very good plus (VG+) condition MacNeill Press fully laminated outer sleeve - no edge scuffing, near perfectly defined right angled corners, firm edges and 1st press "pinched ends" spine, no fraying on the opening edges, and all art work/text/photos remaining in excellent condition with great definition still. The only blemishes are some clearly noticeable laminate creasing towards the bottom left corner on both sides, some minor laminate lifting next to the spine on both sides, and a thin (but just feelable) 5cm score line on the front side. Still very presentable and fully functional. Brilliant excellent plus (EX+) stereo sound quality throughout with no skips, sticks, clicks, distortion, or background crackle and with great tone and wonderful clarity throughout, with every track a great listen. Comes with plain white "MADE IN ENGLAND" inner sleeve with no side splits, edge fraying, discolouration, or obvious creasing. Note that I always ship the vinyl in a new plain white inner sleeve in order to protect the original.    An overall excellent condition copy of this 1969 CCR classic with the gleaming little played vinyl and terrific stereo sound quality being true highlights.
POSTAGE COSTS :

For the UK £4 using Royal Mail tracked 48;

for continental Europe £11 using Royal Mail 1st class tracked and signed for,

and for the rest of the world £17 using Royal Mail 1st class tracked and signed for.

I do provide posting and packaging discounts for multiple purchases. I make no profit from postage.

Note that I always insert the vinyl into a new plain white poly-lined inner sleeve in order to protect the original during postage, and separate this from the outer sleeve to prevent seam splits. I use thick cardboard stiffeners and take great care in my packaging to ensure as far as possible that these precious records reach their destination in exactly the same condition as when they leave me.

A bit about myself : I have been collecting UK vinyl for over 54 years from a variety of sources : my own collection, friends and family, car boot and garage sales, door-to-door leaflets, and even through placing an advert in my wife's shop window! My ebay feedback speaks for itself so rest assured that you are buying from a trusted seller and in the very unlikely event that you are unhappy with your purchase just e-mail me and I will sort out the problem. I offer a "no questions asked" refund policy. If you require any further information, including photos, then let me know and I'll do my best to oblige. There is NO RESERVE on this item. Richard
