CONDITION & PHOTOS

SLEEVE: This copy really is in all round great shape. Firstly, the sleeve is more than presentable and easily grades as EXCELLENT. The only blemishes are a small scuff on the front in the top right, some very light creasing and some mild edge wear. The opening edge has some mild feathering. Overall, a lovely example.

SPINE: The spine is also in good shape, with all text legible and just some very mild wear and a little 'bumping' to each corner.

THE RECORD: I play absolutely all of the vinyl that I list for sale on eBay as I believe that it is the only true way to test the quality of the record being sold. I do not just play small sections and can confirm that this has been tested from start to finish and played through almost flawlessly. I would grade as EXCELLENT(+) with the audio being bright and clear with just the faintest of surface noise in run-ins and between tracks. No loud crackle, pops or clicks; just a fantastic listen.

Visually, the vinyl is bright and shiny and shows up just light hairline marks and paper scuffs under a bright halogen lamp. I would grade it as EXCELLENT in appearance.

LABELS: Finally, the labels are both in beautiful condition with virtually no marks at all. I would grade as NEAR MINT.

GRADING

All of my records have been play tested before listing using a new Rega P3-24 turntable. I describe honestly and accurately but please bear in mind that I am only human and such things are always subjective. I tend to grade records conservatively and believe that my feedback speaks for itself. I am a collector myself (please check my feedback as a buyer) and know how disappointing it is to receive an inaccurately described record.

POSTAGE / SHIPPING

I post worldwide and pack all records in custom made (stiff) card mailers and add extra packaging inside to ensure a safe delivery. I will provide a protective polythene sleeve and the record and inner will be removed from the outer sleeve to prevent seam splits in transit. I want your record to get to you in the condition that it was when it left me.

For any records that come with printed inner sleeves, I will also provide an additional plain inner.

RECORD COLLECTOR GRADING SYSTEM

MINT: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint.

EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and / or creasing.

VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.

GOOD: The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discolouration, etc.

FAIR: The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump. The cover and contents will be torn, stained and / or defaced.

POOR: The record will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface noise, etc. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing.

BAD: The record is unplayable or might even be broken, and is only of use as a collection filler.
